FAIRYTALE DRESS

I had various inspirations for this dress. I thought of a fairy princess, a forest fairy or the Netflix series Bridgerton. Incidentally, it's the same lace that Eloise is wearing in her mint dress that I've used here for this dress. I originally designed this dress for my niece for her engagement. She wanted to look like a princess and I think that was completely successful here.
It has something fairy-like about it. It consists of a straight-lined corset with boning and bra cups, which can be tied at the back. The advantage is that it can be individually laced tighter or wider. I sewed the beautiful multicoloured lace onto the corset flower by flower by hand. Just like the beautiful, delicate puffed sleeves, which are appliquéd with individual flowers and flower tendrils on the upper arm. A lot of love went into the handiwork here, but the end result was worth it. The wide swinging skirt consists of a mint-coloured lining and several layers of mint-coloured tulle.
